After taking voluntary retirement from New India Assurance Company Ltd, she accepted the post of Director at SCOPE T&M Pvt Ltd. She is involved in various company activities, from handling employee training and managing the International dealer’s network. She is also the chairperson for the Company’s CSR Committee.

Achieved vision by developing energy optimisation products consisting of innovative Internet of Things sensors to monitor key grid assets and machine learning solutions to derive insights that increase network efficiency and asset health and reduce power outages. OrxaGrid works with energy companies to increase energy efficiency, optimise assets and analyse failures and losses. In addition, he has managed energy efficiency products in the EU, Solar in the US, and smart grids in India, and helped utilities in 5 countries prioritise their innovation strategies around fulfilling consumer low carbon demand (solar, storage and Electric Vehicles) and winning international awards.

Yash is a smart cities enthusiast with years of experience working in the Electricity Sector across India, Europe, and the US. As Co-founder and CTO of OrxaGrid, He has been instrumental in developing a UK-patented system of IOT sensors and an Analytics Platform that improves energy efficiency, asset optimisation, and fault management on energy networks. He’s an experienced leader with a track record of transforming teams and driving business success. Adept at training and developing product managers, resulting in improved product profitability and streamlined sales cycles. Pioneered digital transformation through CRM implementation and data analysis tools, enhancing deal insights and implementing value-based selling. Proven ability to realign marketing strategies, revitalizing online presence with website revamps, technical blogs, and data-driven social media campaigns.

He started his professional career as an Application Engineer at the Eutectic Division of L&T. After 8 years of closely working with industries such as Power, Steel, Mining, Metal, Foundry & Forge, Sugar, Cement, Defence, Paper & Pulp, he quit as Executive to start his own trading business. On 13th January 1988 along with his two friends, he incorporated SCOPE T&M Pvt. Ltd. For manufacturing Test and Measurement Instruments for the Power Industry. The driving principle of this company was and to this date is to offer…. “Simple Solutions for difficult Measurements”. Initially worked as Director-Marketing and now the Chairman of Company. He has experience of more than 35 years in the field of Sales & Marketing. He now looks forward to serving the power sector by becoming a One-Stop solution for Test & Measurement, Protection and Automation, and Test and Commissioning Services. He is also the current Chairman of the Test & Measurement division formed under IEEMA.

Sanjay C. Kulkarni began his career as an Application Engineer at the Eutectic Division of Larsen & Toubro, spending eight years embedded in demanding industrial environments — Power, Steel, Mining, Metal, Foundry & Forge, Sugar, Cement, Defence, Paper & Pulp. That field experience gave him an engineer's eye for what measurements really matter when high-voltage systems are at stake. On 13 January 1988, Mr. Kulkarni co-founded SCOPE T&M Pvt. Ltd. with a guiding principle that has never changed:“Simple Solutions for difficult Measurements”Starting as Director-Marketing, he built SCOPE's sales and marketing team within India & dealer network for international business, laying the commercial foundation for a company that now reaches 60+ countries. As Chairman, Mr. Kulkarni now steers SCOPE Group’s long-term strategy across all three verticals — VALIDATE, RUN, and SUSTAIN — with a focus on becoming the power sector’s single partner for asset life-cycle through test and measurement, protection and automation, and field commissioning services. He brings over 35 years of sales, marketing, and business development expertise to that mission.
Mr. Kulkarni currently serves as the Chairman of the Western Region Committee constituted under IEEMA (Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association).

As Managing Director of SCOPE Group and the driving commercial force behind the RUN vertical, he leads the group’s push into grid intelligence, IoT-enabled asset monitoring, and machine-learning-powered analytics for energy networks.
Under his leadership, OrxaGrid developed an award-winning suite of IoT sensors and an analytics platform that helps utilities increase energy efficiency, optimise grid assets, and reduce power outages — technology now deployed in energy companies across India, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.
His international career spans energy efficiency programmes in Europe, solar deployments in the United States, and smart-grid implementations across India. He has directly advised utilities in five countries on innovation strategies around low-carbon consumer demand — covering solar, battery storage, and electric vehicles — earning international recognition for OrxaGrid’s work in the process.
At SCOPE Group level, Akshat focuses on cross-vertical synergies — linking the measurement precision of VALIDATE with the digital intelligence of RUN and the field services expertise of SUSTAIN to deliver integrated power-sector solutions for utilities and grid operators worldwide.

Swati Kulkarni brings over 20 years of corporate relationship management experience to the SCOPE Group Board. Her career was built at New India Assurance Company Ltd., where she managed a wide portfolio of corporate insurance accounts — ranging from boutique customer relationships to large-scale multinational contracts. Her background in Statistics from Bombay University gave her the analytical discipline that underpins her strategic approach.
After taking voluntary retirement, she joined SCOPE Group’s Board of Directors, where her mandate spans two areas that are foundational to the group’s long-term strength: people development and global commercial relationships. She oversees employee training programmes that ensure SCOPE’s field and technical teams stay current with evolving power-sector standards, and she manages the group’s international dealer network — the commercial backbone behind SCOPE’s reach across 60+ countries.
As Chairperson of SCOPE Group’s CSR Committee, Mrs. Kulkarni leads the company’s commitment to community and industry responsibility. Her work ensures that the group’s growth creates value not just for shareholders and customers, but for the wider communities in which SCOPE operates.

Yash Kulkarni is a smart-cities technologist with deep experience across the electricity sector in India, Europe, and the United States. As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of OrxaGrid — the technology engine within SCOPE’s RUN vertical — he has been the principal architect of the group’s proprietary IoT and analytics platform.
His most significant technical achievement is a UK-patented system of IoT sensors and an Analytics Platform designed specifically for energy networks. The platform improves energy efficiency, enables real-time asset optimisation, and provides fault management capabilities that reduce downtime for grid operators — core capabilities that sit at the heart of OrxaGrid’s commercial offering.
Beyond the technology itself, Yash is an experienced organisational leader. He has built and scaled high-performing product and engineering teams, redesigned sales processes to shorten cycles and improve value communication, and led digital transformation initiatives including CRM implementation and data-analytics tooling.
At SCOPE Group, he continues to push the frontier of the RUN vertical — embedding digital intelligence into grid infrastructure and helping utilities transition from reactive maintenance to proactive, data-driven operations.
